Project description
Located approximately 19 km northeast of the island Rügen in the federal state Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Awarded in April 2017, Parkwind’s turbines cover an area of 29km2 adding 247MW to Germany’s expanding offshore installed capacity
Services provided by TORGUN
TORGUN supported PARKWIND as expert engineer responsible for following up the FEED design and detailed design of the substation support structure (OSS) during the development phase of the project. During project execution, TORGUN supported the PARKWIND team as EPCI Design Manager in following up the fabrication and installation - design interfaces of the XXL monopiles. TORGUN was also responsible for coordinating the certification process, verification by the Pruefengineer (checking engineer) and vBg/ZiE approvals.
