Project description
Eolien Maritime France (EMF) is developing the St. Nazaire (SNA) offshore wind farm in the French territorial waters at approximately 10 km off the French coast. A total of 80 (SNA) Haliade 6 MW wind turbine generators will be installed on support structures consisting of a monopile foundation and a transition piece, providing a total wind farm capacity of approximately 480 MW.
Actual services provided by TORGUN
TORGUN was appointed as deputy design manager during tender detail design of the WTG support structures to support the project management team of the consortium Eiffage Metal SAS, SDI SA and GeoSea NV (ESG). In this role, the focus was on the coordination of the design and transport & installation, and more in particular the development of the Monopile Offshore Drilliing, Installation and Grouting Aid (MODIGA) and follow-up of grout material investigations.
