The complexity and the multidisciplinary nature of engineering projects, especially projects with large investments such as ports, waterways, infrastructure offshore and coastal engineering, demand adequate project management. These are projects that require skills and experience to handle simultaneously complex and numerous variables from different disciplines. This will integrate the different forms of communication from different specialities, or languages and cultures, that must be synchronized to the puzzle of the project is properly integrated. A project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to accomplish a singular goal.
